Scope

This policy covers our website, online tutoring services, support channels and our WhatsApp Business communication.

Information we collect

  • Parent/guardian contact details: name, email, phone, country.
  • Basic student details (with parental consent): first name, age range, learning level.
  • Account & billing data processed by a PCI‑compliant processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Lesson data: schedules, attendance, assessments and homework; recordings where consented.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies and analytics.

How we use your information

  • Provide and manage lessons and instructors.
  • Send operational notices, reminders and support.
  • Process payments and comply with legal duties.
  • Improve quality and UX through analytics.
  • Marketing only with your prior consent (opt‑out anytime).

WhatsApp Business messages

  • By contacting us on WhatsApp or sharing your phone number, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages for onboarding, reminders, invoices and support.
  • Marketing only with consent. Opt out by replying STOP or email us.
  • Data processed: phone number, WhatsApp profile name, message/media content, message IDs, timestamps, delivery/read receipts.
  • Processors: WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) with appropriate safeguards (SCC/IDTA).
  • Retention: message logs up to 24 months unless law requires longer or you request deletion.

Children’s privacy

We contract with parents/guardians. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Class recordings

Some lessons may be recorded for quality/training only with explicit parental consent. Recordings are stored securely for up to 12 months.

Sharing your data

  • Service providers (hosting, communications, learning systems, analytics, payment processing).
  • Tutors/contractors as needed to deliver the lesson.
  • Legal obligations and lawful requests.
  • Business transfers with equivalent protection.

Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy (14 Days)

You may cancel your subscription within 14 days from the subscription start date.

  • The subscription start date is the date your payment is confirmed and the plan/service is activated (or the date the first lesson is delivered, whichever occurs first).
  • To request cancellation, contact us at support@bnanacademy.com or via our support WhatsApp, and include (parent/guardian name, the email/phone used, student name(s), and order/plan details if available).
  • If you cancel within 14 days, we will stop any auto-renewal (if applicable) and cancel any undelivered sessions.
  • Refunds: We refund the value of unused/undelivered sessions. If lessons were delivered within the 14-day period, we may deduct the value of lessons already delivered before cancellation (as permitted by applicable law).
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider/bank.
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
