1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the BNAN Academy website, services, lessons, communications, and related offerings.
By registering, booking a lesson, requesting a trial lesson, subscribing to a plan, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

3. Our Services
BNAN Academy provides one-to-one online lessons and related educational services.
Our main programs include:
- Arabic Language
- Qur’an
- Islamic Studies
Our services are generally intended for children starting from the age of 4 years and above.
4. Parent / Guardian Contracting Requirement
All registrations, bookings, subscriptions, and service agreements must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian is solely responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete information;
- ensuring that all submitted details are correct and up to date;
- giving any required permissions or consents;
- supervising the student where appropriate; and
- ensuring compliance with these Terms.
Minors may not independently contract for our services.
5. Trial Lessons
We may offer a free trial lesson.
Each family / customer may request up to 3 free trial lessons, provided that:
- each trial lesson is for a different student; and
- the requests are genuine and made for evaluation of our services.
We reserve the right to schedule, reschedule, limit, decline, or cancel trial lessons where reasonably necessary, including in cases of abuse, duplicate requests, or operational constraints.
Trial lessons are subject to teacher availability and internal scheduling policies.
6. Account, Contact, and Student Information
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when contacting us, requesting a lesson, or subscribing.
You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details, student details, and communication information remain accurate.
We may rely on the information you provide for scheduling, billing, communication, and service delivery. We are not responsible for issues resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
7. Fees, Payments, and Subscription Start
All paid subscriptions and lesson plans are generally charged in advance.
A subscription is considered active and officially started as soon as payment is successfully completed.
Where available, auto-renewal may be enabled for subscriptions. If auto-renewal is enabled, you authorize us to collect the applicable renewal payment using the saved or selected payment method, subject to the payment provider’s terms.
8. Failed or Delayed Payment
If a payment fails, is reversed, is declined, or remains incomplete, we may temporarily freeze upcoming lessons or suspend service access until the payment issue is resolved.
We are not obliged to continue delivering paid services while payment remains outstanding.
9. Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to update or change our prices at any time.
Any future pricing changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably applicable. Updated prices will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter services already paid for, unless clearly stated and legally permitted.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription within 14 days from the subscription start date.
The subscription start date is the date on which payment is successfully completed and the plan or service is activated.
If you cancel within the 14-day period:
- we may stop any auto-renewal, where applicable;
- we may cancel any undelivered sessions; and
- refunds will apply only to the value of unused / undelivered sessions.
If any lessons have already been delivered, their value may be deducted from the refund amount.
An administrative fee may also be deducted where applicable.
Refunds, where approved, are generally processed within 5 to 10 business days, although the exact timing may depend on the payment provider or bank.
This policy does not affect any statutory rights that may apply under applicable law.
11. Lesson Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellation by the Customer
A parent or guardian may request to reschedule or cancel a lesson up to 2 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
During one subscription period, each student is allowed:
- up to 2 cancellation requests; and
- up to 2 rescheduling requests.
Requests exceeding these limits may be refused, treated as used sessions, or handled at BNAN Academy’s discretion.
Late cancellation requests or missed lessons may result in the lesson being deducted from the student’s subscription.
12. Student Delay, Absence, and No-Show
Students are expected to attend lessons on time.
If a student is late, absent, unavailable, or does not attend the lesson for reasons not attributable to BNAN Academy, the lesson may be counted as used and deducted from the student’s subscription.
Teachers are not required to extend lesson end times beyond the scheduled slot except where BNAN Academy decides otherwise.
13. Teacher Delay or Teacher Absence
If a teacher is late, the student will be compensated for the period of delay as reasonably determined by BNAN Academy.
If a teacher is absent and the lesson cannot be delivered as planned, the student will be granted a free replacement / compensatory lesson or an equivalent remedy at BNAN Academy’s discretion.
14. Subscription Freeze / Pause
A subscription may be frozen for up to 14 days maximum.
A freeze request must be made at least 2 hours in advance.
Where a valid freeze is approved, the subscription period may be extended accordingly.
We reserve the right to refuse freeze requests that do not comply with our notice requirements, operational rules, or misuse-prevention controls.
15. Compensatory Lessons
A student may be entitled to a compensatory lesson where:
- the teacher is absent; or
- a lesson is cancelled due to technical issues on BNAN Academy’s side.
BNAN Academy may determine the form, timing, and scheduling of the compensatory lesson based on operational availability.
16. Lesson Recordings
Some lessons may be recorded for purposes including:
- educational follow-up;
- quality control;
- teacher supervision;
- training;
- service improvement; and
- helping ensure the best possible learning outcomes.
By subscribing to our services, the parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees that some lessons may be recorded for these purposes.
17. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property
All educational materials, lesson content, curricula, documents, branding, website content, design elements, and related intellectual property made available by BNAN Academy remain the property of BNAN Academy or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- reproduce;
- distribute;
- publish;
- commercially exploit;
- record;
- share; or
- reuse
our educational materials, lesson content, or protected content beyond normal personal educational use.
Unauthorized recording, copying, publication, or distribution of lessons or materials is prohibited.
18. Customer Responsibilities and Conduct
You agree to:
- provide a suitable device and stable internet connection;
- attend lessons on time;
- treat teachers and staff respectfully;
- avoid abusive, disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate conduct;
- avoid misuse of the website, platform, communication channels, or services; and
- ensure that the student behaves appropriately during lessons.
If a student displays inappropriate behaviour, BNAN Academy may issue a warning or note. If the behaviour continues or is repeated, BNAN Academy reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate the subscription or services.
19. Right to Refuse, Suspend, or Terminate Services
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, limit, or terminate services where reasonably necessary, including where there is:
- non-payment or repeated payment failure;
- inaccurate or misleading information;
- abuse of trial lessons or promotions;
- repeated no-shows or misuse of scheduling privileges;
- inappropriate behaviour toward teachers or staff;
- misuse of our platform, communications, or content; or
- any conduct that may harm BNAN Academy, its teachers, staff, students, systems, or reputation.
20. Communications
You agree that BNAN Academy may communicate with you through appropriate service channels, including email, phone, WhatsApp, and other official communication methods used by the academy for:
- scheduling;
- reminders;
- support;
- billing;
- lesson updates; and
- operational notices.
21. No Guarantee of Specific Results
BNAN Academy provides educational services with reasonable care and professional effort. However, we do not guarantee any specific academic, linguistic, behavioural, memorization, or religious outcome.
Student progress depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, home practice, parental involvement, and the student’s individual circumstances.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BNAN Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising out of or related to the use of our services, website, lessons, communications, or materials.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not legally permitted.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, BNAN Academy’s total liability in connection with the relevant service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that service during the relevant subscription period giving rise to the claim.
23. Force Majeure
BNAN Academy shall not be responsible for delay, interruption, or failure to perform obligations where such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including technical outages, internet disruption, governmental action, platform failures, natural events, emergencies, labour disputes, or similar circumstances.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any updated version will be posted on the website with a revised effective or updated date. Continued use of our services after such update may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
